The Women Fashion Power Exhibition at the Design Museum

Last week the team visited the exhibition: Women Fashion Power at the  Design Museum in London. There were many beautiful garments and photography showcased which explored the ideas of women empowerment in fashion.

From corset to bikini, feminism to eco-fashion, the exhibition explores feminism history, women history and emancipation of females.

‘Ethical fashion empowers you: when you wear it, you are also wearing the beautiful stories of the people who have made those clothes. We are so disconnected from the garment workers at the other end of the supply chain (…) The London 2014 Stella McCartney Green Carpet collection encapsulates this message and shows that together we can make a difference. ‘ (Livia Firth)
