Luca Jouel is a boutique Australian fine jewellery brand celebrating a sophisticated yet organic beauty. Founded on a passion for creating beautiful heirloom quality jewellery with a modern sensibility, their pieces combine ethically sourced diamonds, gemstones and mixed precious metals together with luxury hand finishes and a love of the details.
Each piece of Luca Jouel fine jewellery is custom made by expert crafts people in Australia and Hong Kong using a variety of manufacturing techniques which include CAD/CAM, hand-assembly, hand-finishing and complete hand-making, and their chains are custom crafted in Germany and Hong Kong. In acquiring the elements for their pieces, Luca Jouel is committed to the legitimate and ethical sourcing of materials and maintains a policy of dealing only with companies who demonstrate that same commitment to ethical trading.
All Luca Jouel diamonds have been obtained from reputable sources in their supply chain. Their suppliers warrant that they have purchased their diamonds from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions and the World Diamond Council's System of Warranties.
The principle specialist manufacturers they engage are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council and also follow sourcing procedures that are fully compliant with the LBMA Responsible Gold Guidance and OECD Due Diligence Guidance for the Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals.

About the Designer
The daughter of a retired member of the Royal Australian Air Force and a dressmaker, Tereena was born in Malaysia and raised in both Australia and the United States. She received her qualifications as a gemmologist and diamond grader whilst working for a prominent Australian jewellery valuation laboratory. Tereena also holds qualifications as a naturopath and received her BSc. in Molecular Biotechnology and BMedSc. in Pathology.
With the arrival of her twin boys in 2006, Tereena increasingly felt the desire to create. And so her development as a self-taught fine jewellery designer commenced and the idea of Luca Jouel was first conceived in 2010.
