Celebration For Fashion Revolution Day in London

One year after the catastrophic event that hit Rana Plaza in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where a clothing factory collapsed, it killed 1133 people and injured 2500 leaving 800 children orphaned. Events that are horrific like this continue to this day in our fashion supply chains. Fashion Revolution Day commemorates this day, and brings awareness of how conscious consumerism can make a positive impact on the fashion industry as a whole. Fashion Revolution Day is being held in over 50 countries including, USA, Brazil, Australia, U.A.E, UK and many others. As Fashion ComPassion is based in London we are excited to be taking part in this. Our Fashion Compassion founder Ayesha Mustafa is a member on the Global Advisory Committee. We thought we should enlighten everyone on the Fashion Revolution events happening in London with a handy list.

Have a look at these events and see how you can play your part in being a conscious consumer!
