The Alliance for Artisan EnterpriseFounded in 2012 by the former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, The Alliance for Artisan Enterprise is a consortium of individuals and organizations that are committed to supporting artisan enterprises in developing nations. The aim of The Alliance is to develop the artisan sector into a key economic driver in the developing world by investing in social development, economic growth and the preservation of cultural heritage.
The Alliance unites organisations from the private and public sector like Fashion ComPassion, Coca-Cola, the U.S. State Department, Nest and others to bring investment and infrastructure to a growth area with high potential.
Ethical Fashion Forum The Ethical Fashion Forum (EFF) is a global network for sustainable fashion, representing over 6000 members in more than 100 countries. The EFF supports and promotes sustainable practices in the fashion industry that are needed to reduce poverty, reduce environmental damage and to raise overall standards of the industry.
Fashion ComPassion is a member of the EFF's Fellowship 500. In addition to being shortlisted in 2011 for the Innovation Award for Ethical Retail, Fashion ComPassion has also been a panellist at the EFF's annual Source Summit.
