Women for Women International helps women in areas of conflict to rebuild their lives. We work with women survivors of war in Afghanistan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Kosovo, Nigeria, Rwanda and South Sudan. Since 1993, we have given over 300,000 women the skills and resources necessary to transform their lives, through our 1-year holistic training programme. Women who participate in our programme are able to sustain income, become decision-makers in their families and communities, and access vital support networks and safety nets. After many years working in countries torn apart by war, Women for Women International has proved that investing in women is the most effective way to create lasting change and stability.

  Friends of The Citizens Foundation gives underprivileged children, especially girls, in urban slums and poor rural villages in Pakistan the opportunity to improve their quality of life and bring about positive change through education.
