Hi my name is Immy and I am an intern at Fashion ComPassion. I also run a blog where I love to write about fashion from all over the world, creating outfits and reviewing collections I’m interested in. I particularly love fashion in Seoul and Tokyo, my ultimate dream is to work in Seoul as a fashion stylist.
I would describe my style as Aomoji Kei, a fashion subculture described by one of my style icons Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. But of course I have my own take on the culture, by wearing a lot of monochrome colours with a dash of colour, mainly pink or purple, when I feel like it. Amoji Kei is all about being fun with your fashion and not particularly sticking to one style.
I love finding upcoming designers and boutiques but I also have a lot of favourite high end designers including; KTZ, Jeremy Scott, Moschino, Nasir Mazhar, Givenchy, W.I.A Collections, Balmain and Alexander Wang.
Recently I have become much more aware of the need for ethical and sustainable fashion. Since starting my internship at Fashion ComPassion my eyes have been opened to the world behind our clothes, and how cool sustainable fashion can be. A label that caught my attention is Terrible Movement, they stock really cool sweatshop free t-shirts that have been worn by the likes of Haim, Cara and Delevigne. I hope to learn a lot more while on my internship, and I will share everything on this blog, so keep checking back!
