It supplements regular curriculum with one-hour skills training that results in marketable products. The product sales funds education and provide savings for the community, making BLISS a sustainable model. By working for BLISS the girls’ hourly income has increased by 60% compared to when working full-time. The more handbags produced and sold, the more students BLISS can educate and train - it's a virtuous cycle. $300 keeps 1 girl in school for 1 year!
