Nawa
Nawa is a social project aimed at using fashion to create sustainable improvements in the quality of life of poorer communities around the world. Nawa was launched in 2011 and the name comes from the Arabic word for Seed. It symbolizes the spirit of continuous and abundant giving that starts with a simple act. Nawa designs, manufactures high end luxury bags and accessories inspired by the heritage and spirit of different culture.
Each product Nawa creates has a dual purpose: to satisfy the highest standards of the customer and to be a small engine for social change. All net profits from the sale of the products are channelled back into the community. Nawa is also an Official Partner of The World Food Program and contributes a percentage of its profit to the WFP to help raise funds for specific projects around the globe.
